I'd like to
introduce you to the Lafayette, Indiana, facility and me, Tammy
Kennedy, the terminal manager. I've been
with LTC over 15 years including several years in
dispatch & now terminal managements
We have 23 drivers total: 18 company drivers
& 8 owner
operators. We also employ
1 clerk, 3 mechanics and 1 shop supervisor.
For many
years, we've been the in-house
carrier for Eli Lilly, which is 99%
dedicated runs. We also transport Dow AgroScience products &
handle most of their herbicide & insecticide in the area east of the
Mississippi River. The bulk of our terminal loads are
dedicated customers.
Company driver
gross earnings range from $30-$45,000 per year and owner operators
gross $1,800-$2,200 per week, with seasonal
spikes being much higher.
